nextScan Discontinues Resale Relationship with Eastman Park Micrographics

Decision will contribute to growth of international distribution network through new partner recruitment

Boise, ID – June 26, 2013 – nextScan, Inc., the recognized leader in film and fiche scanning technology worldwide, today announced an end to its partnership with Eastman Park Micrographics as a nextScan reseller. This decision was made as a result of nextScan’s international growth through the implementation of an extensive reseller channel worldwide, and the need to diversify reseller partnerships – to further expand product sales and introduction of new solutions, ultimately providing the very best products available to the micrographics marketplace.  nextScan will continue to honor existing service agreements for nextScan equipment that has been purchased through Kodak Document Imaging in recent years, or subsequently through Eastman Park Micrographics.

Kurt Breish, nextScan President and CEO, stated, “We have come to the conclusion that ending the European reseller relationship with Eastman Park Micrographics and concentrating further resources on our existing resellers in that region is what is in the best interest of the company and our customers. We have been growing internationally, and want to be sure to provide the very best in support to the partners and customers that have contributed significantly to that growth.  We are bringing new solutions to market and want to be sure that in addition to our existing reseller network, we recruit energetic and knowledgeable resellers in the future.  This decision has no impact on our North American customers, and we look forward to continuing to offer excellent product support to those that have purchased nextScan equipment through Eastman Park Micrographics.  We wish Eastman Park Micrographics the very best in its future business endeavors.”
